Recently I came across this site called therestartpage.com, which is a cool collage of restart prompts of some Operating Systems over the last 20 years. It is like a museum of OS, some of them which I have used and some of which I never saw before.
The prompts having buttons can be clicked and also moved around the page, which is a cool thing. The most interesting fact on this site is the creator of the site has also kept in mind the time whcih thsese systems would take to restart. XP and MAC OS tiger take lesser time than the older OS. So for People who have not worked with this site they can atleast see, how the old Operating Systems would look like.

What I say is this site Really needs a go, and appericiation. I being a webdeveloper understand how difficult was this to code and and must say It as a wonderful demonstration for HTML5. Where as, we can go forward to build upon virtual OS on web, just as an extension to this site.
